Classic printmaking techniques with a new and exciting spin! For those who like to get a little messy and try something new, Kid Prints will introduce a variety of techniques from string printing to eraser carving and more! All techniques are safe and non-toxic.
Printmaking is an artistic process of creating and transferring an image from one surface to another, usually paper, to make multiple copies. It uses simple materials like rubber, sponges, foraged materials (leaves, flowers, etc.) or cardboard to create a "stamp" that is then covered in paint and pressed onto paper. This can be a fun, messy, and creative activity that helps children learn about patterns, color, and textures.
