Spend the week exploring the wonderful world of clay and all of its sculptural possibilities. Students will learn a range of hand-building techniques — including coil building, double pinch pot construction, and slab mug sculpting — and discover how these methods can be used to create both functional and imaginative forms. Through guided demonstrations and plenty of creative freedom, kids will experiment with shape, texture, and surface design as they bring their ideas to life.
Ceramic work will be fired and ready to take home 6-8 weeks after the session ends.

Spend the week exploring the world of jewelry and metalsmithing. Students will gain hands-on experience working with copper and brass as they learn foundational techniques such as soldering, piercing, sawing, texturing, and surface embellishment. Through guided demonstrations and individual creativity, participants will design and create their own wearable pieces — such as pendants, earrings, or charms — while discovering how artists transform raw metal into personal and expressive art. This workshop is perfect for teens interested in fashion, design, or craft, and provides a strong introduction to jewelry studio tools and safety.
