Kyle Pontes (b.1999) is a self-taught film photographer and community non-profit worker born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Working within the post documentary tradition since 2019, he has sought to capture the intimacy and transience of public life between Boston and New York, as well as within his private life. Pontes graduated with his B.S. from Fordham University in 2023, and has had work featured locally in the Boston Compass as well as Umass Amherst Student Gallery and Mass Art’s Brant Gallery.
