Kids will have the opportunity to delve into the world of texture and sculpture with a whole week focused entirely on 3D art. We will discover different kinds of sculpture, and use a wide range of materials to create original artworks that stand up and stand out!

This week, we will cover artists from the pop art movement, cubism, expressionism, and impressionism. Learn from the artists who created the movements! Each day will be inspired by a modern artist who paved the way for contemporary artists today. Examples include Cy Twombly, Andy Warhol, Piet Mondrain, Keith Haring, and Yayoi Kusama. Students will leave with a portfolio of art inspired by some of these modern artists.

This hands-on pottery program will introduce students to hand building fundamentals. Explore your creativity while learning various techniques for creating your own mugs, bowls, and other unique pieces! Ceramic work will be fired and ready to take home 3-4 weeks after the session ends.
