Juls Gabs is a digital painter and media artist who redefines traditional painting by merging classical influences with contemporary digital methods. Her work explores new figuration, creating alternative canvases that blend traditional techniques with technology-driven processes.
Her career includes solo exhibitions such as Landscapes of Future Era, Today at HallSpace Boston (2024), Blending Boundaries at Onstream Gallery (Rome, 2022), error at Unit 1 Gallery|Workshop (London, 2020), Daring Forest at Sala Miguel Hernández (Madrid, 2018), and Goodies Boobies at Casa de Cultura Navacerrada (Madrid, 2018).
She has participated in prestigious residencies, including Vertical Crypto Art Residency (Metaverse, 2022), Watou Art Festival (Belgium, 2022), The Columbia Residency at Roman Road Gallery (London, 2021), Radical Residency IV at Unit 1 Gallery|Workshop (London, 2018), and Paradise AIR (Tokyo, 2018).
Her work has received notable awards and grants, including the Mass Cultural Council Grant for Creative Individuals (2024), Teravarna Award (2023), Mayte Spínola Revelation Artist (2019), and European Research New Creative Spaces Prize (2014).
Gabs’ work has been featured in 99 Future Blue Chip Artists (Artsted, 2023), FAD Magazine, Aston Martin F1, London Art Events, and Arteinformado, among others, solidifying her presence in contemporary digital art discourse.
