Ryan Horton is an artist from Lilburn, GA based in Boston, MA driven by curiosity of expression. With his M.Arch from Northeastern University and a BFA from SCAD, Ryan has been exposed to a number of creative methods that have pushed his passion to breathe purpose into his works. Horton’s work has been on display in a number of exhibitions such as the African American Museum of Dallas, Boston City Hall, and MIT’s Koch Institute Public Gallery. He showcased his first solo exhibition titled, Ego & Insecurities, at The Piano Craft Gallery and recently installed his second solo exhibition, Continuum, at Endicott College.

Horton is also a recipient of the Cambridge Art Association Emergency Fund for Visual Artists and received grants from the American Rescue Plan Act, City of Lowell Public Art Program.

Horton has been featured in art publications including Artist Talk, New Visionary Magazine, Create! Magazine, and Ottawa Design Club’s zines.

As his art career continues to unfold, Horton’s focuses on furthering his exploration of the duality of self through the freedom of artistic expression via painting, digital works, mix media as well as installation pieces. He is currently working on a public art installation in Lowell Massachusetts.
