Description
Part-Time: 2.5 hours a week (Class runs 8-10 weeks long each season, excluding Summer)
Teachers are compensated for curriculum prep time, studio prep, and cleanup.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with adult learners or individuals with autism
- Desire to support individuals at all levels as they explore art and learn new skills
- Ability to collaborate with aids and teachers from partner schools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of general safety rules and basic first aid.
- Professional and patient.
- Knowledge of art materials and general care of studio space.
- Masters or current study in Art Therapy, Psychology or Child Life programs preferred
