Description
Part-Time: 20 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Manage office email and phone calls
- Assist in managing daily operations of classes and communications with students and parents
- Complete basic registrar tasks in Active Network (enrolling, unenrolling, transferring, etc)
- Maintain monthly calendars
- Answer the front door and assist with visitors’ questions
- Take minutes during weekly staff meetings
- Represent BAC at events in the community
Qualifications
- Experience working in educational, arts-related, or media-related programs is highly desirable
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently on projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including with Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive, and, ideally, database entry

- You possess excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills
- You have a dedication to contemporary art, including work in new media
- You are passionate about engaging our community in artistic programming
- You are professional and patient
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable remaining stationary and working on a computer for prolonged periods
- Possess the mobility necessary to work in an art studio or office setting and use office equipment
- Able to understand printed materials and to see, listen, and talk for extended periods in person, over the telephone, and via computer
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds, push and pull, keyboard and grip
- Able to exchange accurate information with instructors and staff
